Nutty slice
Ingredients
80g walnuts (slightly crushed)
80g pecans (slightly crushed)
200g sunflower seeds
60g rolled oats
2 tsp rice bran oil
1/2 cup peanut butter/tahini
190g maple syrup
100g cranberries
2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 cup chia seeds
Method
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Grease a 20x20cm baking pan.
Roast nuts, sunflower seeds and oats on separate trays for 8-10 minutes (until brown).
Combine oil, peanut butter and maple syrup over low heat until combined.
Place dried fruit, nuts, sunflower seeds, oats, cinnamon, vanilla, chia, salt and stir to combine.
Add in nut, maple mix and stir through thoroughly.
Press mixture into prepared tray and refrigerate until set.
