Spicy air fried tofu
Ingredients
300 gm block silken tofu
3 tbs garlic oil
2 tbs tamari
1 tps thyme
1 tps basil
1 tps oregano
2 tps black pepper
2 tps dry mustard
1 tps celery salt
1 tps white pepper
3 tps paprika (I use smoked and sweet)
1 tsp maple syrup
1/2 cups cornflour
1 lime
Method
Press tofu and freeze overnight.
Defrost and press tofu again.
Mix oil and tamari in a large bowl.
Add all herbs and spices and mix well.
Tear up the tofu into pieces and turn gently through the spice mix.
Add cornflour and turn though tofu and spice mix.
Place tofu pieces on tray and back at 180° for 15 minutes.
Serve with generous drizzle of lime juice.
